Critical exponents from five-loop scalar theory renormalization near six-dimensions

چکیده
We present five-loop results for the renormalization of various models with a cubic interaction (in ${d = 6 - 2 \varepsilon}$ dimensions). For scalar model and its ${O(n)}$-symmetric extension we provide constants, anomalous dimensions critical exponents. discuss in detail method calculation, all counterterms up to five loops. This allows one consider generalizations ${\varphi^3}$ theory other symmetries.

Critical exponents from five-loop strong-coupling φ4-theory in 4 − ε dimensions
Recently, one of us [1, 2] has developed a new approach to critical exponents of field theories based on the strong-coupling limit of variational perturbation expansions [3] and [4]3. This limit is relevant for critical phenomena if the renormalization constants are expressed in terms of the unrenormalized coupling constant. The theory was first applied successfully to O(N)symmetric φ4-theories...

متن کاملHysteresis Loop Critical Exponents in 6 − ǫ Dimensions
The hysteresis loop in the zero–temperature random–field Ising model exhibits a critical point as the width of the disorder increases. Above six dimensions, the critical exponents of this transition, where the “infinite avalanche” first disappears, are described by mean–field theory. We expand the critical exponents about mean–field theory, in 6 − ǫ dimensions, to first order in ǫ. Despite ǫ = ...
متن کاملRenormalization of two - loop diagrams in scalar lattice field theory
We present a method to calculate to very high precision the coefficients of the divergences occuring in two-loop diagrams for a massive scalar field on the lattice. The approach is based on coordinate space techniques and extensive use of the precisely known Green’s function.
متن کاملEffective Critical Exponents from Finite Temperature Renormalization Group
Effective critical exponents for the λφ4 scalar field theory are calculated as a function of the renormalization group block size k−1 o and inverse critical temperature βc. Exact renormalization group equations are presented up to first order in the derivative expansion and numerical solutions are obtained with and without polynomial expansion of the blocked potential. For a finite temperature ...
